More of the UW-L Campus. In the center is a long, short three story building (Reuter Hall). Just beyond that building is Laux Hall, where I lived for three years. Across the street is a cemetary. My window freshman year faced right out towards the cemetary.

A bit wider shot. These shots are from Granddad Bluff. The bluffs are the eastern edge of the city. The west edge is the Mississippi river, across from which is a little bit more of Wisconsin, and then Minnesota.

La Crosse is very flat. The bluff I'm standing on is about 500 feet up, but the city is pretty much flat. You go downhill a bit as you get towards the Mississippi (towards downtown), but not much.

The flag that sits atop Granddad Bluff. It's lit up at night, and since it's 500 feet up, it's visible from most of the city. During the holidays, it's decorated like a Christmas tree.
